Unreasonably Excited!

I can’t believe InVenture is heading to the Unreasonable Institute tomorrow.  It’s an honor to be affiliated with the folks through this program, and obviously, I have to say that we’re UNREASONABLY excited :) We are also excited for everything that the Institute will offer us over the next six weeks. While I’m sad to be leaving the team - I am also excited to see us rise up to this challenge of working apart from each other - I truly believe in our team and our organization and am so excited for what this summer holds for us.

 
To give everyone a background on what this all really means:
The Unreasonable Institute is an accelerator of ventures that will create “Unreasonable Impact.” Their goal is to unite 25 high-impact entrepreneurs annually from around the world in Boulder, CO for 6-weeks and provide them with world-class mentorship, access to seed capital, intensive skill training, a global network of support, & international exposure.  It’s a pretty awesome opportunity and we’re thrilled to be one of the 2011 fellows :)
 
There are a lot of exciting events that we’ll be participating in while we’re there - the first being on June 16th - a pretty big date for us. We are exciting to learn from all the other fellows and understand best practices, even more importantly we’re excited to get inspired and be a part of this amazing community. Going back to June 16th for a second - I, (Shivs)  will be speaking live from the Unreasonable Institute on “How we will define progress in our time” - and we’re going to be simulcasting her from Boulder at our new Santa Monica office space during our summer kickoff happy hour!  Stay tuned, or come to our event if you live in LA, to be one of the first to experience our BIG news.
 
I am going to be blogging from the Institute all summer - so look out for fun pictures, videos, stories from our workshops and of the other fellows!
